Many of the homes in Woodlake were built in the mid-1990’s, including the one pictured above. When we met these empty nesters, they were considering Refacing their existing kitchen cabinets to update the look of the space. However, as we talked, it became apparent that the layout of the room was not conducive to their lifestyle. They have three daughters, two sons-in-law, two grandchildren, and a third on the way. The flow of the kitchen caused bottlenecks when meals were being served, and the cabinets were cluttered inside. During our consultation, the wife used the phrase, “My dream would be….”  Because we offer options, we proposed the Custom Cabinet Reface, but we also offered a proposal to help our customer create her dream kitchen with a complete Remodel. We suggested removing the wall between the kitchen and dining room, relocating the sink under the old dining room window, tearing out the closet-style pantry, adding a large island, and completely changing the layout. We worked closely with the family through several design revisions, the project was completed within their budget, and they are thrilled with the outcome. (After photo below)
