We were contacted by a young dental assistant who had just bought her first home. When we met, she told us that the process of painting, decorating, and personalizing each room was fun, and she was enjoying working on the weekends and evenings to make the space her own. Fortunately, her father happens to be very competent when it comes to repairs and electrical work, so his help was invaluable.

The kitchen, however, required some professional help. She had had an unpleasant meeting with a representative of a large nationwide chain, and their quote for Refacing her cabinets was too high, so she called Kitchen Doctors.

Since the cabinets are structurally sound, and the layout works well, we were able to offer a basic White Maple Reface with Raised Panel doors that came in within her budget. Her parents joined her at our showroom in order to review our proposal, to see our displays, and to make sure they all felt comfortable entrusting us with the project. After meeting with Jim Sheehan, the owner of the company, and discussing the project in detail, the family decided to move forward immediately.

We worked with her to help her choose her countertop material (Cambria Quartz in Montgomery), tile backsplash, and new hardware. Four weeks later, the materials had arrived, and our crew was able to complete the Reface in a matter of days. By the end of the following week, she also had gorgeous new countertops, an undermount stainless steel sink, and the lovely glass tile backsplash pictured below. Her mother told us that sometimes her daughter calls her after work just to say, “Mom, I love my new house!”
