Custom kitchen cabinets
Your cabinets can be the focal point around which the rest of your kitchen is decorated. If you are making a change, either by having all new cabinets installed or by refacing your existing cabinets, choosing a style and wood species or wood alternative is one of the first priorities. Making sure the cabinets function well for your specific needs is equally important. At Kitchen Doctors, we offer a variety of options to help make your kitchen a space that suits your lifestyle, budget, and preferred aesthetic for many years to come. Whether you choose to reface, replace, recondition, and/or add on some new features to your cabinets, we will help turn your vision into a plan that meets your needs. Cabinet reconditioning and refinishing

Dirty and worn woodgrain cabinets look like new after we recondition using our proven cabinet refinishing method. We remove your cabinet doors and drawer fronts, then remove years’ worth of accumulated dirt, oils, and stains from all the cabinet surfaces. In addition to cleaning the wood, our proprietary wash chemically etches the surface to prepare it for the final finish. We make spot repairs to cracks, dings, and scratches wherever necessary. Finally, we hand-apply two coats of water-based polyurethane to give it a fresh shine. Reconditioning is an ideal solution if you like your existing door style and wood, the layout works well, and your cabinets are in good shape structurally. Choosing this method of refinishing older cabinets offers a cost-effective option with minimal disruption.

For a substantially lower investment than remodeling or refacing, cabinet reconditioning may be the option that suits your needs.

Custom Cabinet Refacing

If your cabinets are in good shape structurally but your kitchen could use a makeover, refacing is a cost-effecting way to give your kitchen a stunning update. Refacing involves replacing the doors, drawer fronts, and veneers, while leaving the existing cabinet boxes in place. The refacing process gives your cabinets a like-new look at a lower cost than installing new cabinets, and is ideal for:

  • Creating the look of all new cabinets without a complete tearout
  • Keeping the original cabinet layout
  • Cabinets that are in great structural shape

We offer a broad range of styles and materials, including solid wood and decorative laminate veneers for your cabinet doors and drawer fronts. We also provide all new matching molding and trim, new handles and knobs, as well as new hinges, to keep the cabinets working properly. With all the options we provide, you can completely customize the look of your kitchen cabinets.

Replacing with a Full Kitchen Remodel

When all new cabinets are the best solution, we offer a full kitchen remodel  scaled to your personal needs. Whether you would like to simply replace the old cabinets or completely change the layout, we will help design the kitchen of your dreams. We work closely with you to determine how to achieve the aesthetic appeal you want and the functionality you need, whether your goals include a visual transformation, adding more storage space, or totally opening up the room.  With our wide range of cabinet choices, door styles, hardware, and colors, we can help you design a custom kitchen that is entirely unique to you. And at Kitchen Doctors, we have the experience and expertise to allow our customers peace of mind throughout the process.
